A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to hang out at a friend’s house. It was an unseasonably warm night, so instead of kickin’ it indoors, we decided to get a fire started and hang outside. While watching the sun fade into the distant horizon, we shot the ish and swigged some drinks.
As you can see by the images, all of which were taken within an hour of each other, I chose to experiment with a few different styles and techniques of post-production. Lately I’be been really liking the way color looks inside of a dark frame. Looking for deep dark shadows contrasted by a light with a limited color palette. I find color has the greatest impact when there is less of it present.
